updates:
  • dating?
  • virtually swiping my card too much on online shopping
actually that's what brought me to write this post because in the long string of clicking on the internet from nordstroms to target somehow led me to a lifestyle blog that reminded me that, I too have a blog.  It's an ungodly hour to be awake when I have a full day of work ahead but, thought I'd pop in to say hello cause I haven't in awhile!

  • got a gym pass
  • finished my sketchbook (2014-2016) and bought a new one a week ago yet I've only had time to draw once in it!

We are all a little weird and
            Life's a little weird,

and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours,

We join up with them and fall in

mutual weirdness and call it Love.

Learn something new

My project of October was undoubtedly one I've pushed off for too long : Ceramics
It's my new hobby & can't wait to return in a few months.
By the end of each session at the studio I felt exhausted, but also, satisfied leaving with muddy hands & clothes because I learned so much from techniques to little life lessons.
I'm not going to lie throwing on the wheel is difficult... from centering to getting the piece off with the wire tool. It doesn't stop there: trimming, 1st firing, glazing and then the final fire (around 1800° talk about HOT) There's much more to it than slamming mud and spinning it... like clay to the potter Jeremiah 18:4,6  I was just reminded of how much God loves us and the care He puts into us... life is a process; it takes patience; Trust in Him

This November I'm going to practice calligraphy and learn more about graphic design. We all have to start somewhere, right? Below is my FIRST piece... I took this photo on the London Eye, 2014.
Where to next : it can be a destination, state of mind, goals to be conquered, etc.

a decline

Here’s a run for your $ and time:
It is perfectly acceptable to respond “no”.
It is okay to not have an explanation to everything.
People will expect a yes, or the answer they want BUT it’s a question/ request. The answer is up to you. No need to feel bad about it.
